The Cheshire Art League is hosting local artist Jay Babina on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cheshire Public Library, 104 Main St. He will offer attending artists the opportunity to have their work critiqued. Attendees may bring a finished piece of art, or work-in-progress. Babina will offer suggestions and answer questions related to the work.
Babina is a painter with 40 years of experience as a practicing graphic designer and illustrator and had his own graphic design and advertising agency for over 20 years. He works in watercolor, acrylic and oil as well as various drawing mediums.
The Cheshire Art League, in cooperation with the Cheshire Library, hosts art talks and demonstrations at 6 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month. These events are free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
