Comedy Night Set For March 26

Comedy Night Set For March 26

The Connecticut Community Empowerment Foundation announces its first fundraiser to benefit ReRead Books, a used bookstore in Cheshire designed to employ differently-abled young adults and provide them meaningful experiences. The store offers entry-level careers for associates to develop professional skills in a productive and collaborative environment.

To benefit ReRead Books, the CCEF is hosting a live (virtual) Comedy Night and Silent Auction on Friday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. The comedy show will be hosted by Cheshire’s own Rick Roberts and will also feature NYC-based comedian Moody McCarthy and Wallingford-born comedian Howie Mason. The silent auction will be conducted online. Items up for bidding include tickets to the Hartford Athletic soccer team and the Walter Camp Annual Dinner, signed footballs from NFL players, and gift cards to local businesses.

Tickets are $20 per family, but are not required to bid on auction items. Visit https://reread.cbo.io to purchase tickets and to register to participate in the auction.
