First Congregational Inviting Community To Dinner

First Congregational Inviting Community To Dinner

Hardly anything brings a community together better than sharing food and friendship. That’s why, starting Feb. 27, Cheshire’s First Congregational Church will begin The Dinner Bell, a monthly event where Cheshire residents may gather for a free, nourishing meal in the company of neighbors.

The church will open its doors and hearts to strengthen the community, serve busy families, and ensure that a tasty, hot meal is available to everyone.

No reservations are needed. This is open to anyone who would like to share a dinner, whether people are having trouble making ends meet, are tired of eating alone, or just want to get out and be with other people.

The Dinner Bell Community Meal will be offered on the last Thursday of each month, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church’s Parish Hall, 111 Church Dr., easily accessed from the large parking lot behind the church. Handicap parking is available in the front of the church.
