This month’s Army Air Force Roundtable of CT (AAFRC) meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Cheshire Senior Center, 240 Maple Ave.
The meeting will be the rescheduled presentation with speaker Mira Alicki, veteran Kaye Colello and Miley, the rescue service dog from the “Forever in my Heart Foundation.” This group based in Middletown works with experienced, certified trainers and various animal shelter/rescue groups, to help save the lives of many homeless dogs and train them to become service dogs helping disabled veterans.
All military veterans, active service members from any branch, and civilians are welcome at AAFRC meetings and are eligible to join. AAFRC monthly meetings consist of a topic or speaker on military history or their experiences, and then enjoy a roundtable of discussion before breaking off for refreshments. All members are welcome to bring guests. For more information, contact Leslie Marinaro at email@example.com or join the Army Air Force Roundtable of Connecticut Facebook page.
