There will be a free community Narcan (naloxone) training session on Wednesday, April 6. The meeting will occur virtually, utilizing Microsoft Teams. The session will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., in honor of National Public Health Week. The event is sponsored by Chesprocott Health District and the Meriden Department of Health and Human Services.
The training will cover an essential part of overdose prevention education, where members of the community can learn what an overdose looks like and what to do to reverse them.
