Potluck Picnic On The Lawn Planned For St. Peter’s Open House

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church welcomes back the community with a potluck picnic, games and tea on the lawn, this Sunday, Sept. 11, from 12 to 3 p.m.

St. Peter’s, a historic church in the heart of “old” Cheshire, is hosting its annual Welcome Back Open House, called “Open Doors, Open Arms, Open Hearts … Open House!” In addition to the potluck picnic and English cream tea on the lawn, there will also be games and activities for children.

The various outreach ministries at St. Peter’s, such as social justice, eco-justice, racial justice and equity, quilters, and music and youth programs, will share information about their work and how to get involved. “Open Doors, Open Arms, Open Hearts… Open House!” is free and open to all!

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, is located at 59 Main St. For more information, call (203) 272-4041, or visit https://stpeterscheshire.org/.
