The pumpkins are back at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Cheshire, signaling the arrival of autumn and the coming of Halloween. The “Community Pumpkin Patch” is open Monday to Friday, from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All profits from the pumpkin sales are donated to charity.
One of this year’s highlights will be “Kid’s Day in the Patch”, planned for Saturday, Oct. 8, from noon to 4 p.m. Events will include Halloween science experiments, pumpkin painting, Halloween Bingo and other games. Kid’s Day will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the games will take place inside the parish hall.
