Looking for something new to try as the calendar turns from 2020 to 2021?

Well, Artsplace would like to remind you that you do not need to be an artist to take classes.

Start the new year with a new art endeavor, learning to paint in oils — bringing life-long satisfaction — from an amazing instructor.

Artsplace is offering two short workshops:

•“Oil Painting a Winter Cardinal” workshop with instructor Patty Meglio will meet on three Wednesdays — Jan. 13, 20 and 27 — from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students will learn to paint a bright Red Cardinal perched on a branch on an 8 x 10 canvas. Class is suitable for beginner and intermediate adult students. All supplies, except paper towels, are included in the onsite workshop with physically distanced tables for up to nine students.
