ReRead Books & More, 104 Elm St. at the Cheshire Watch Factory Shoppes, has some exciting events scheduled in April.
This weekend, “From the Pacific to Provincetown: An Author Talk” will be held on Saturday, April 15. The event will cover how two Cheshire author’s lives were changed through their Cap Cod discoveries of wartime love letters and writing in solitude.
The authors are Lisa Franco, who wrote “My Dearest Darling: Letters of Love in Wartime,” and Allison Bass-Riccio, who wrote an article entitled ““Exquisite Unreality: A Week in Solitude at Land’s End,” for 1794 Magazine.
The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at ReRead Books (lower level). Cost is a $10 suggested donation for adults, $5 for students
Then, on Saturday, April 22, ReRead Books & More will hold a Comedy Night & Silent Auction Fundraiser. The event will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 59 Main St., and the doors will open at 6 p.m.
Grab some friends, get a table, browse auction items, and get ready to laugh out loud with some award-winning comedians. The comedy show will begin at 7:30 p.m..
