The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce didn’t have far to go for a special Before Hours/Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in honor of The Cheshire Herald last Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Both the paper and the Chamber are now based in the same building – 195 South Main St., commonly referred to as the Cornwall House. The special event brought up members of the business community as well as local government to see the new offices and mingle with the staff.
The Cheshire Herald has been Cheshire’s hometown newspaper since 1953. The publication was recently purchased by the Record-Journal Company, a 157-year old family-run newspaper/ media company based out of Meriden.
