Cheshire Fall Festival Kicks This Weekend

The Cheshire Fall Festival & Marketplace kicks off Friday evening. 

There were a variety of food trucks on hand  at Bartlem Park beginning at 5 p.m., along with the opening of the Kiwanis Carnival. The main event was a performance by Christine Ohlman and Rebel Montez.

The Food Trucks scheduled to appear at the opening event included NoRA Cupcake Factory, Sweet Treats Catering, Christiano’s Mobile, Thai Taste, Ted’s Cheeseburgers, On The Go Smoothie Cafe, Szabo’s Seafood, and Shoreline Prime.

Saturday, the Festival will begin at 10 a.m. and run right through the evening. Below is the schedule for Saturday:

•Festival Opening – 10 a.m.

•Cheshire Marching Band – 11 a.m.

•Luke Hendon and Guest – 11 to 11:45 a.m.

•Sherrylee – 12 to 12:45 p.m.

•Leo Lavallee and Whitebread’s Brethren Horde – 1:15 to 2 p.m.

•The Mudflaps – 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.

•Dave Crispino – 3:30 p.m.

•Blackie’s Hot Dog Eating Contest – 4:30 to 5 p.m.

•Imposter – 5 to 5:45 p.m.

•Cheshire Community Band – 7 p.m. to dusk

•Fireworks and Raffle Drawing – after dusk

Second Stage Schedule for Saturday

•Free Yoga – 9 to 9:45 a.m.

•Free Jazzercise Class – 10 to 10:45 a.m.

•Cheshire Junior Cheerleaders – 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

•J.C. Karate – 12:15 to 1 p.m.

•Cheshire Taekwondo – 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.

•TBD – 3:30 to 4 p.m.

•Horgan Academy of Irish Dance – 4:30 to 5 p.m.
