This weekend, Cheshire residents continued to show their support for the “Black Lives Matter” movement and the protests in response to the death of George Floyd, a Minnesota man who died while in police custody.

One Sunday, June 7, hundreds turned out for a “Black Lives Matter” March, walking along Route 10 from Bartlem Park to Town Hall. Many in the crowd held signs and speakers addressed the crowd to call for an end for everything from racial inequality to police brutality.

The peaceful event brought people of all age groups and walks of life together.
