Grange Fair 135 Years Old … And Still Going Strong

Grange Fair 135 Years Old … And Still Going Strong

Goats and treats and fun for all ages.

That’s what was on the menu at this year’s annual Cheshire Grange Fair, the 135th in the group’s history. All throughout the day on Saturday, Aug. 24, and Sunday, Aug. 25, Cheshire residents enjoyed some good ol’fashioned New England agricultural fair favorites, such as feeding the farm animals, admiring – and buying – different crafts, and taking part in some games of skill, such as rolling pin and mallet tosses.

Add in the pony rides and the Grange Fair’s famous Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday afternoon, and everyone went home happy from this year’s event.
