Girl Scout Troop 60238 and sixth grade Cadetts from Norton School made a flyer asking for donations for the Food Pantry. They then walked around their own neighborhoods and put the flyers in mailboxes.
The girls asked people to leave their donations on their porches so the process would all be contactless and set the date of Nov. 15 for the pickup of the food, which was then dropped off at the Food Pantry on Monday, Nov. 16. In total 558 pounds of food were collected. The girls were so happy and they are already planning a new way to help our community.
