CHESHIRE – Lucy Mary Beebe, 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Elim Park Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Westley Beebe. 

Mrs. Beebe was born on April 6, 1929, in Hamden, daughter of the late Frederico and Maria (Ianotti) Carpentino. In her free time, Lucy loved trips to the casino, playing bingo, and will be forever known as an amazing cook. 

She is survived by her children, Barbara Jean Mitchell of Wallingford, Mary Anna Mancino of Cheshire, and Richard Anthony and his wife Deborah Linsley of Waterbury; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Lucy was predeceased by her son Federico Carpentino, brothers Joseph, Anthony, and Federico Carpentino, and her sisters Julia Carpentino, Phyllis Gentile, and Rose Oleskiewicz. 

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020, at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Family and friends were asked to meet directly at church. Burial followed in St. Bridget Cemetery. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the procession left for church. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., 06410, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
