CHS Girls' Volleyball Reaches 3-0 On The Court

To start the season, Cheshire High School girls’ volleyball has seen all of their matches go four sets. The Rams are happy that all of those contests have ended in victory.

On Thursday, CHS moved to 3-0 with a 3-1 victory (25-23, 21-25, 25-12, 25-16) over Bristol Central (1-2).

Momentum shifted back and forth during the opening set, however, the Rams were able to pull it out on a kill by senior tri-captain Avery Mola.

Cheshire led 17-16 in the second set, but BC reeled off six points and proceeded to even the match at 1-1.

CHS responded immediately in game three, jumping out to a 8-0 lead. Senior Alex Lucas recorded three kills in the fast start.

From behind the service line, sophomore Eva Catalanotto helped the Rams extend their lead to 20-3 in the third set.

In returning for game four, BC built a 15-13 advantage, but Mola served on a 8-0 surge that propelled the Rams to victory. Senior Kat Ulicki finished that run with consecutive kills.
