Playground Improvements Good For Entire Town

Playground Improvements Good For Entire Town

Editor, The Cheshire Herald:

We are writing to thank Cheshire Parks & Recreation Director John Gawlak for spearheading the restoration of the Kids in Motion Playground at Bartlem Park.  Under his direction the playground received significant and exciting improvements, such as six new play elements, new play panels, new fencing, new signage and a refreshed surface.  We would also like to thank Mark Cunningham, Rich Pruitt, the Department of Public Works staff, Sean Kimball and the Cheshire Town Council whose hard work and support helped to make these upgrades possible.

We appreciate being included in this restoration project and feel confident that John and his team will ensure that the playground continues to be an exciting and safe play environment for children and their families. Cheshire is fortunate to have such a dynamic, talented and enthusiastic Parks & Recreation Director and such a dedicated staff and town government.
